How to I put this polar array into my front view?

I have a polar array in my auxillary view. I don't know how to draw it for my other views. How would I do that?

The two views that I already drew. They don't have that polar array I have in my auxiliary view.

Hi @Anonymous,

If I understand correctly, you want to rotate part of the top view objects into the front view plane.

If you switch to an ortho view by clicking the bottom left corner of the view cube you will now be oriented to see the Top, Left, And Front of the Viewcube.

Now, use 3DROTATE and select the items to rotate. The Gizmo allows you to select the direction of rotation.

No that's not what I want to do. My drawing currently has a front view, top view and auxiliary view. The auxiliary view has a polar array of circles. My other views don't. I would like to know how to draw that polar array on the other two views. In the auxiliary view they are perfect circles, but they will be ellipses in the other views because of the angle of the part. I'm working in 2d so I won't need to rotate the view like you've shown.

Hi @Anonymous,

I think I understand now. You merely have to project construction lines from one view to another.

Now, if you want them to be actual arrays, or constrained, then you would probably be best off to draw this in 3D.

Once you have it in 3D then you could create your views with VIEWBASE.
