Easiest way to create this hatch?

Hello, I need to have a section with a waterproof layer which is usually drawn like this (sort of like a white and black check)

What is the easiest way to do that in Autocad?

I don't know if there's a hatch that will do... I usually use the command array path but it doesn't look quite right.

The best way is to divide the multi lines in equal part and hatch it in solid like the sample in screen cast.

I would use a polyline, OFFSET on the both sides, change the linetype of the middle one to 1-1, change it's global width.
