Lines are displaying & printing wrong. Old file changes are showing up.

I trying to find out if I my laptop is incapable or if there is something else going on. We don't use paper space. Each sheet is a separate file. This is the way it has to be done due to requirements. All dwg files are located on a server. Autodesk design suite 2017 is loaded on my laptop.

I am using a Dell laptop for 2D drawings with some Inventor modeling for center of gravity and sheet metal design.

In Autocad 2017 (2D files)

1st problem:

After opening/closing many files, copying, editing my dash lines are displayed and printed as solid lines. When I batch plot files (only one file open) they show as solid lines also. The harder the machine is used the worse it gets.

2nd problem:

At random times OLD changes (deleted & changed) from days/weeks earlier will be present in the file.

Dell Laptop machine specs:

display adapter RAM (2,080,374,784) bytes (not dedicated)

free space 40.41GB

standard disk drive

i7 2.9ghz processor

8gb installed RAM

64bit operating

Hi,

It would be better if you copy all files to your local disk from the server and then give it a try.

Turn your PSLTSCALE variable to <0> and check whether the line type is coming correct in the print..

Post some sample pics to have a closer look on the problem.

does this mean that you start work normally then after a while from working your problem appeared?

try to Disable Hardware acceleration from 3DCONFIG command.

it's weird ... and i'm afraid that a Virus some how reach to your files.
