Excellent, thx. I played around with it and the only box that needed to be unchecked was the "smooth line display". I will, however, take your advice and see if I can get an update to the driver. Thx. Thor

I've just activated my suite on my laptop. when I open an existing dwg it's as if the graphics card has gone insane. the dwg elements seem to have been exploded so that there are bits all over the place with lines joining. dwg is recognizable but fragmented ...?

HI,

I suggest to disable hardware acceleration from 3DCONFIG command.then reopen your CAD file.

Regards,

Hi,

just as additional info: if disabling hardware acceleration solves issues then you should know that the driver does no communicate well with AutoCAD (using DirectX).

As long as you only work 2D, it is ok ... but whenever you are working 3D you are losing a lot of power, so I would try to find a driver for your graphic card which works better with AutoCAD and you can activate the hardware acceleration!
