Hi,

Thanks Alfred for the quick reply. Here is the pdf attached.

I cannot find the difference when zooming the pdf. Here is what I got.

Hi,

I need to convert a pdf to vector format. So when I use the pdfimport option, this is what happens.

Some of the sprinklers does not join even though they are made as same blocks. Is there any way to prevent it from breaking.

Hi,

I guess that are already vector geometry inside the PDF which does not result in a circle, either based on the raster/resolution while printing ... some output jumped with the exported curve one pixel to the right or to the left, so the result is a list of arcs with different radius (different by the value of 1 pixel + or -).

To test that you might import the PDF into Illustrator and compare the geometry there, I guess AutoCAD is not repairing what is already not a circle in the PDF.

Or maybe zooming the PDF very close on your screen could show it?

But to make sure ... can you upload the PDF?

Hi,

sorry, I don't have Adobe Acrobat or Illustrator, Inkscape crashes when opening the file, so I don't get access to the "real"/"original" internal object of the PDF.

Hopefully someone else can open the PDF and identify the source geom.

Sorry, - alfred -
