In Inventor every action has a name in a tree and it can be deleted or moved, i think.

Is there a way to move a hole in Acad 2013?

I try to select each face of the hole separately while pressing Ctrl, but when i rotate the model the selection cancels

I am able to Ctrl+pick a side surface and without rotating, but with selectioncycling on, and pick the other side, hold Shift down, pick the two grips needed and drag the opening to a new location. I am also able to Ctrl+pick a side, use '3Dorbit or using the Shift+middle mouse button, to pick the other side, hold shift while picking the two grips needed and drag it to a new location.

When i was outside with the laptop i could select any overlapping face by using Ctr and selectioncycling on. the wisual style was wireframe.

i got home, opened the same drawing and i can't select overlapping faces anymore. only when i pause on an edge the selection cycling appears

Something happened and when i hover on overlapping faces, and press Ctrl-nothing happens, the list of faces doesn't appear.

selectioncycling=2

The Selection Filters is set to none.

I could select overlapping faces a day ago, but why not now?

Also, when i set the filter to faces only, the list appears without pressing Ctrl but as i pass, item after item, in the list-the matching face doesn't highlight. the whole solid is highlighted at the beginning and it stays so as i scroll down through the list of faces.

It is 100% reliable to 3Dorbit to pick the other face. I too had trouble picking a face behind another face, picking over and over in different spots would finally get me there but why not just 3Dorbit and get it done?

It doesn't pick ANY face at all! it did, yesterday, i was out with the laptop.

Came home, copied the file to the hard drive on my network, opened it, and whatever i do now: set and cancel filters-nothing.

When i set object filters to Faces-the list appears but only the whole body is highlighted, no matter which face i select.

I will save as and clean the drawing and send it later.
