it is possible

keep in mind it may cause Licensing issues if you have limited seats

each version uses a seat if you are on a license server

also the backward compatibility may become an issue for other users who do not have 2018

xreference files will be saved in the later version.

Make sure you install 2016 first. Though, there really isn't a need to have both versions installed. You can save back to the 2013 DWG file from 2018 for any 2016 users.

Yes, different versions of AutoCAD can coexist on a single computer. It is best practice to install and update the older version(s) first.

AutoCAD 2013-2017 all support drawing version 2013 (and older ones) while AutoCAD 2018 supports a new 2018 drawing file format.

If you are on subscription, you are entitled to the current (2018) version as well as the two prior versions.

+1 with other Technical virtual Friends and/or EEs !

On my PCs I have about :

5/6/7 versions of ACAD MAP 201X

2/3/4 versions of ACAD 201X

2/3 versions of ACAD CIVIL 201X

2/3 versions of ACAD LT 201X

2/3 versions of ACAD Archi (or ACAD MEP) 201X)

And almost NO Problem ! ... Of course all versions has been installed in the "right" order ...

I am hoping you might be able to answer a similar question for me. I recently downloaded a trial version of AutoCAD 2020, and it also downloaded fusion360. I have an older version of Fusion 360 on my computer. I cannot work in either version without it constantly crashing and freezing. should I remove one version? and can I do this without losing my autocad trial?
