if you click the gray circle does it perform the command it supposed to?

It may be as simple as the icon sharing the same name with another icon.

has anyone had the odd behavior of bringing in a customized electrical symbol only to have it replaced with a grey circle?.

the other toolbars seem fine and that particular symbol works on other autocad 2016 machines... its a setting, but stuffed if I can find it.

any help?

cheers

no, certainly doesn't share any names.. all have a nicely unique name.. the good news was I was able to replicate the issue on my own machine... bad news is I'm unclear how I did it and turn it back! 🙂

???
