Are you expecting this information to be automatically available? Are you looking for info management advice? Might you be trying to decide whether to update or redefine a block?

As the other have stated, internal block time stamps are not a built-in capability. That said, if, looking forward, you consider this information important, you could add it to your block definitions either in attributes, as xdata, or in the block description. Manually updating that information might get tedious and error prone. Such capabilities could be automated via customization. If your blocks are drawings themselves, the time stamps are managed and available via the operating system as the file date information.

Hello community.

I would like to know if there's the possibility of knowing when a CAD block was created.
Best regards.

Hi,

In my opinion there is no such command to find the date of the block created. But you can use the TIME command to check when the drawing was created and all the other drawing details.

Hi,

>> knowing when a CAD block was created

Sorry, AutoCAD does not hold time-stamps on objects. So the answer is NO.

The only mini-chance might be if you find the file with that block-definition and so a file-data. But even that is no proof that the block in your current drawing was not modified in the mean time.
