Greetings everyone,

I would like to add what I can only describe as '3D curvature' to a surface. For example, I can add a '3D curvature' to the surface of a circle by creating a 3D sphere with the same radius, and using SUBTRACT on half the sphere as shown in the picture below:

Shown in this picture, I would also like to add a '3D curvature' to the red square, but I do not know how.

How can I add a '3D curvature' to any surface such as a square or other polygons?

Are you talking about something like this? If so, SURFNETWORK may be a good option. You would need to create some guide curves to go along with the rectangle.

Thanks for your replies JDMather and SEANT61.

SEANT61, the picture you have for SURFNETWORK is very similar to what I want to achieve for my rectangle. I'm having a hard time finding the information I need to understand the use of SURFNETWORK for a simple rectangle. Can you please share with me the steps you used to achieve the result shown in your picture?

Look at this sample network surf and the curves/lines used to create it.
