Hi,

>> Yes important things like Win 7 Updates and Dot Net FX 4.7 are installed

That could be (I guess that IS) the source of the problem.

If you install such old software like AutoCAD 2010 then only install up to Framework 4 and nothing more current, then let the AutoCAD installer install the Framework it needs (first install 2010 then 2012).

You might try to disable hardware acceleration (>>>click<<<), but I would uninstall the frameworks and then run the AutoCAD installers, starting with the oldest one.

HTH, - alfred -

Hey Guys!

I installed a fresh Windows 7 64-bit system recently.

I haven't installed many programs for now - Yes important things like Win 7 Updates and Dot Net FX 4.7 are installed already.

I've never got this Error message back when I installed AutoCAD Architecture 2010 or 2012 on my laptop or my old Windows 7 64-bit System.

I attached a screenshot of this error, it applies when I am starting AutoCAD Architecture.

ACA 2010 Service Pack 2 is already installed, and I used the error Hotfix files from 2009 aswell.

I had to install from scratch due to a motherboard "ASRock B150M" and a CPU "I7 6700k" change.

I hope someone can help me out! 🙂

Kind Regards

Jan

I learned to use ACA with 2008...so I am bit addicted to ACA 2010 as I worked some years with it, especially during my apprenticeship time.

You might try to disable hardware acceleration (>>>click<<<), but I would uninstall the frameworks and then run the AutoCAD installers, starting with the oldest one.

HTH, - alfred -

That one helped, I did disable the hardware acceleration and it started like a charme!

But when I remove the "Path" /NOHARDWARE line and try to start it again with hardware acceleration, the error comes up again. 😞

What exactly does it mean, when I run it without hardware acceleration? Will I be only able to load small drawings and e.g. huge ones will lag faster than with activated acceleration?

BTW. thanks a lot for your help already @Alfred.NESWADBA!

This means that the hardware capabilities of the video card are not used. Nothing wrong with that. You can work safely. Also you can test with different video drivers - maybe one of them is compability with AutoCAD.
