FATAL ERROR: Unhandled e06d7363h exception at 7538c54fh

I have been running Architectural 14 on Windows 10 64 bit for quite a while. Now when I open I can sometimes run one or two commands and it closes. At other times it closes one the first keystroke or mouse click.

Repaired, uninstalled and reinstalled, uninstalled last Windows 10 security update and get same results.

The error says "Unhandled exception." I submitted the report details to Autodesk and so far no solution. Customer support tells me they do not "officially" support 14 on Windows 10. I sent the three files in the report to the support tech and he says that there seems to be an issue loading the project files, and suggest I use this forum to perhaps fins a solution. I'd hope I can find a solution rather than installing an older version of Windows.

Can you try roll back window update?.

Because latest window update that its version is 1703 installs Net framework 4.7 as automatically.

So I think that Net framework 4.7 causes the error on your doing.

Sonppw, I do not get the "Go back to previous version of Windows 10" option in the recovery tab, just "Reset this PC", "Advanced Startup", and "More Recovery Options" (for clean installation of Windows which will remove apps) .

I uninstalled a security update pushed on 8/18/17 but AutoCAD sill errors and closes. I appears the turning off automatic updates is difficult.

Why you can't see "Go back to the previous version of Windows 10" in recovery tab, You already update 10days ago, So it disappeared.

And security update is not current update version, it is OS build of the current version, Therefore you can't back to the previous version.

All I know is that After 30 days have updated, It limits to back to the previous version.

Of course, Net framework 4.7 may not be the problem, I suggest some tips to solve the problem, I'm not sure that Its tips help to solve.

1. Install AutoCAD 2014 Architecture service pack at here

2. Disable Anti-virus

3. Update your graphic card driver

4. Turn off hardware acceleration

5. Try open CAD in the other window account

6. Disable A360 that if you have

I recommend using CAD architecture 2016 or newer version that is supported in Window 10 OS.

Tried all of your recommendations, still errors out. I'll see if Microsoft can help.

I may have to go with AutoCAD LT due to $

2014 and below are not supported on Windows 10, so this could be part of the issue that it is finally caught up and now it flat out won't work. depending on what kind of work you do with outside sources, would determine if you want to install 17 or 18. there is a new drawing format in 2018, which can cause some save down headaches. if you are on maintenance or subscription, you get access to the current version plus 3 back, so you should have those in your account and can run any of the versions you wish. LT is cheaper, but it also has fewer features, make sure you don't need something before switching and then regretting it, it all depends on the work you do.
