Selected Object has no grab points

When I select a line or object before it would allow me to grab a point on it (endpoint, midpoint, center, ect.). Now when I select an object there is no grab point. My ONSNAP is on along with all modes selected. Can someone help me get these grab points back?

_grips variable. There are 3 settings. 0 is off, 1 is I think only middle and end grips, 2 is all grips.

There is also a bug. Read this to fix it if they are simple not shut off by mistake.
