Creating Custom Font

I need to create a custom font from polyline profiles. Is there anyway to save the polylines to create a custom font?

To create a font, you first have to convert the symbols to shapes. Use the Express Tools Make Shape (MKSHAPE) command. This saves the symbols to a *.shp file. When you are done, you have to compile the shape file using the COMPILE command. This saves it as a *.shx file.

The ExpressTools might help too with the command MKSHAPE (>>>details<<<)

This topic also explains the format for shp text files. You can use the Express Tools DUMPSHX to decompile an shx file to a shp file to see how it was created or use it as a template for your shp file.
