Share Drawing feature

I'd like to use the Share Drawing feature to for a group project where several people will be editing the document. When I tested out sharing to the web, I noticed that the original document does not seem to update with the online version. Is this right? Also, when the url link expires after 7 days, what happens to the document that we would have been using? Is it gone unless we save a copy of it before that happens, or is it still accessible somewhere? And finally, if someone tries to use the link while another person is working in the drawing, will it stop the second person from opening it, or will one of the two's work be overwritten? Is there anything else I should be aware of before using the Share feature for group collaboration?

in regards to multiple users opening up the same link to the dwg shared from Autodesk Docs (similar with Civil 3D):
