Has anyone encountered this before? How to get rid of it so it doesn't show everytime I open the app or a dwg file?

Hi,

pretty sure, this is not from plain AutoCAD.

"Vertikal?" could be the question of _-style command, if you edit or add a new style with a font

what have the property 'vertical'

Start AutoCAD in /safemode -> https://help.autodesk.com/view/ACD/2024/ENU/?guid=GUID-8E54B6EC-5B52-4F62-B7FC-0D4E1EDF093A

and the problem doesn't appear, right?

From now, restart normal (not in safemode)

If so, start to search for custom stuff like

Command: (findfile "ACAD.lsp")

program feedback is NIL, or a path? If a path, open this acad.lsp by Notepad/Editor and search for STYLE, any Hits?

I mean a standard installation without customizations.

And now, I see that you posted in the past in CIVIL3D Forum, that let me ask: Are you really talk about AutoCAD, or is it a C3D installation?

Hi Sebastian, I am talking about vanilla AutoCAD.

I was not sure what was causing it.

But I have changed APPAUTOLOAD variable to 1

Now it has been resolved apparently.

Hi sorry, not fully resolved.

When I open the app and drawing1, it is fine.

When I open some drawings, the message will show again..

Show us please: share a DWG file that does this for you. Also include a screenshot of your AutoCAD's ABOUT command pop-up when you get a chance.
