How do I remove a plotter from an AutoCAD template?

How do I remove the plotter from our AutoCAD drawing template, every time we start a new drawing using our templates, an old disused plotter keeps being displayed.

We want to remove it from the template file?

Hi,

open your template, go to this layout, start command _PAGESETUP, assign "none" as plotter, close all dialogs with OK and save the current dwg as new template.

(I personally would set something like "DWG to PDF.pc3" as active device, because then you can store paperformats too)

i suggest to check the follow :

you may have page setup that you need to delete it from your template . File >> Page setup Manager ... right click on the page setup (if exist ) then delete it.(see image below )
you can delete and remove the unused old plotter (if still exist) from AutoCAD plotter list . File >> Plotter Manger .
