it seems that you're preparing a homework that related for a certain thing (that we don't know).those letters may indicate to a math equation or a matter of physics measurement case. we could help you more if you give us more helpful information.

look at geometric tolerances, the symbols are available in dimesioning

Excuse me, you have a description for an exercise to be done and you can't solve that.

Now you reduce the description`(that even was not enough to get your work done by yourself) and ask us to help you, how should that work?

The only suggestion I could give just based on guessing: look to parametric
