    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;by &lt;STRONG&gt;DDIM&lt;/STRONG&gt; command and by modifying text placement you can get many options. BUT as you ask you can get it by changing the Vertical text placement to &lt;U&gt;Outside&lt;/U&gt; option and as shown in the below image example .&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;FONT color="#000080"&gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt; How I can move the dimension text to another side of the dimension line&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Select the dimension so you get the grips displayed.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Now move your cursor to the text-grip point, but don't click it ... after a second (about) you get a context menu with the option "Move Text Only" ==&amp;gt; click that option and your text is ready to be moved.&lt;/P&gt;
