Dependant paramers for speeding up pubblishing in Autocad

Hello

I have setted up the option of automatic pubblishing at file closure.

It takes a little bit of time: looking at computer performance seems that memory is quite busy.

Should I increase the memory of computer (now at 8 GB wiht Autocad 2022)

Which parameter should i increase for speeding up the pubblishing?

Is it slower than if you run a publish of the same layouts manually?

Dumb question but you did not mention it: have you turned off background publishing yet? Its best if you do.

8GB RAM is low today for a production environment (fine for a very casual user), but the rest of your system specs and where you store files and how you are linked to them as well as the complexity of your DWG files also play into performance issues too. You mention none of these either.

Same speed, then there is no issue, then you can't speed up this.

If all your dwgs are in the same folder and your plotting parameters are the same for all then you can plot using ACcoreconsole applying a script to create the plot output. The speed is drastically different because this method does not require AutoCAD to load and would be even faster then publish command
