Either edit the names manually under SHEETNAME in PUBLISH (either select and right-click to rename, or click on each with two slow left-clicks) then save the list for reuse, or use SHEETSET MANAGER where you name your sheets ahead of time, then PUBLISH from there.

Your suggestion is all very well but what if i am publishing from the sheet set manager !!! ? how do i overcome the same issue ? as the whole point is that you can publish the drawing set (populate the publish box) in the sheet set manager & not have to add them in from some folder on a server.

Is there not a variable that controls this ? as i dont wish to rename my sheets I just want to be able to publish the layout name full stop.
