i have the sheet which is offset from the 0,0 of layout

Hi,

the visual helper (the white paper) will follow your pagesetup!

(rarely it is not up2date, in this case run a print and it will update)

Short: Start PLOT command, check your set up and correct your setup, push [apply to layout].

Is it looking as expected now?

If not, PLOT, change to PDF driver and run a plot [OK]

For clean layouts (nothing around the drawing frame,

use the allrounder of pagesetups:

Plotarea Extents

Centered

1:1

and it will ever work for you.

In Plot command click under Plot Area>What to Plot select: Window

Click Window button and do a window around the area you want to plot

Then click Apply to Layout and click Cancel out of the Plot command.

Now it's no longer offset.

Not really: as noted by others, you want EXTENTS in your case as shown in your screenshot, plus the "centered" option too, not "layout".

1. "Layout" is the stupiest choice (it means, "Layout" is not clear defined, it's just the last successed pagesetup, that's a problem - as you feel at this time yourself)

2. After you used MY or PAULs instruction, you can set it back to "Layout" if you want.. no problem (but I don't recommend it, for the reason you're currently experiencing)

Or you move those objects onto the layout area. No big deal. The key is to be able to plot what you want every time you run the plot command
