I need to turn off the Dimension Flag

Something happened over the weekend.

Now, when I click on the end of a line that I want to stretch perpendicular to a wall close by, as I stretch it, this Square appears with the distance.

I'm sure some of you like that because AutoCAD wouldn't have added it.

BUT, the Dimension Flag covers up the wall intersection I'm trying to stretch to.

I can't see the Perpendicular Symbol, so, I can't tell which side of the wall I'm stretching to.

I've clicked on the 3 parallel horizontal lines at the bottom right and unchecked Dynamic Input.

Nothing changes. So, that wasn't the problem.

Any of you know what I'm to do to get rid of this Dimension Flag?

try hitting the "F12" key.

What you want to say is There is nothing happens when turning off Dynamic input??.

Dynamic input can be controlled by using system value DYNMODE.

The value 0 is that turn off all of the things.

The value 1 is that turned on only Pointer input.

The value 2 is that turned on Square box that can enter distance value.

The value 3 is that turned on all of the things.

Therefore you should check the DYNMODE value When you see nothing happens about Dynamic input.

Hi,

if your issue appear as shown below .... then ANNOMONITOR value must be changed to zero to get rid of all these flags and turn it off . it flags all non-associative annotations by placing a badge on them

Command: ANNOMONITOR
Enter new value for ANNOMONITOR <2>: 0

Note : a cross button down there at the status bar will also control this issue.

Pushing F12 does the job.

I see that F12 is assigned to "Suppress Dynamic Input'"

Thus whether "Dynamic Input" is checked or not, F12 turns it on or off.

I don't quite understand ANNOMONITOR yet, and will study if further.
