Do you know that PLT-format is nothing standardized and differs by printer/plotter type?

You can use the AutoCAD _PLOT command and instead of sending the data to the printer you can create a file for this printer (e.g. to send it later).

But that PLT-file is printer specific and you can't send a PLT-file created for a printer type A to another printer type B (well, you can send it, but you'll get bad paper content then)

So as long as you don't tell us for which printer the PLT should be created no one can give you an answer ... except: you can create a PLT file by using command _PLOT and activate "to File" in the plot-dialog.

PLT file is using for the CNC cutting machine. after the conversion of DXF to PLT then again it converting to SLG. The cnc machine only read the SLG files.

I am using HP Design Jet T1100 plotter. i had attached both files. But after converting the PLT to SLG, not seeing any information.

Well, now I think you understood the source of the problem. A PLT-file for printer-type A is not the same as for printer-type B as printer-type B does not understand the structure of the file ... and you converter does not understand the structure of a plot-file for your T1100.

As long as we (you) don't know which type of printer your converter (to SLG) needs you will not have any success.

Some CNC software can use HPGL-files so you might try to create your HPGL-printer (use command _PLOTTERMANAGER and then "add-a-plotter-wizard") to create HPGL-PLT-files, but also that is just a guess, nothing else.

I have done as per your advise but no luck. the CNC machine is not recognizing the contents from the converted SLG file.

We need to know which type of plotter output your software accepts/understands.

I had tried with various printers. HP DJ 1100 plotter, HP 500 Plotter, HP 5200 printer etc. But no luck.

PLT files converted through coral draw is accepting by the CNC machine. Still not able to understand what is wrong on plotting to file from autocad

I try it again: a plot-file is dependent on the device for which the plot file is created for.

Even a plot-file for the same device can be different, e.g. you can send files in postscript, in hpgl, in hpgl/2, in hprtl to the same plotter if that plotter understands these formats...but your converter does not accept what you have configured.

As long as you don't know which exact driver your converter software is using it's like searching for a screw while not knowing the length and diameter.

Can't you ask the vendor of that converter software? That would answer a question you seem to have no answer for (at least I asked that now 3 or 4 times without getting that answer).
