Line weight not plotting

Hello,

I want to make a single line more heavy/thicker. So I thought I change the linetype in "layer properties" to 2.11mm but nothing changes when I plot to PDF.

Attach 1 -> settings

Attach 2 -> settings

Attach 3 -> PDF plot preview

Anyone any idea how to fix this ? How to get a line more heavy, more thick?

Did you remember to turn on LWDISPLAY variable?
Then when plotting (and in Pagesetup command) did you remember to check the box labelled PLOT OBJECT LINEWEIGHTS?

LWDISPLAY is on now but it does not print thicker lines on PDF. I do see the thinker lines in my drawing now.

I have PLOT OBJECT LINEWEIGHTS enabled.

I looks like every different color is set to a specific line type weight in this setting. I don't know if this has anything to do with it. (See attachement "55")

You’ve encountered the classic debate between using ctb vs stb to control lineweights. Since you are plotting using ctb own assignments your lineweights have no impact. Read up on this thread

If I disable 'PLOT WITH PLOT STYLES" it gets thicker, but now the colors are a bit wrong on the file because, the plot styles are disabled.

An extra problem is that some lines are not think, which are on the label. This is so in the plot preview as in the drawing it self. (See attachment)

if you disable plot styles that means your ctb pen weight assignments are completely ignored. Then you’ll have to rely on defining a weight for each layer.

Hi,

the topic 'thicker or thinner' is explained (your Plotstyles in your .ctb are set to print with lineweight 0.2) now.

the next one:

Please share your Productversion(s) number(s) - the best way is, share your command: ABOUT dialog

to make sure you are running the latest update.

The Block TP2 - Detail Doorsnede 2023, Visibility 'F265-1200' isn't drawn as all other Vis

I can't see a real problem, but I can see a difference, so please: Is it working with other 'visibility1' (<-great Parametername)

change ctb option "none" and check plot "plot object lineweight"
