AutoCAD 2024: Clicking the move command causes turned-off layers to turn on,

In the screenshot below, when the move command is initiated, it results in previously turned-off layers becoming turned on.

Which setting is responsible for this behavior?

I think this comes from your customizations, the non-AutoCAD functions you use.
Close and reopen the file, try again.
(or does this happen in all files, in every session?)

still a problem? Start AutoCAD in /SAFEMODE and test it again.

I tried to open\close and in multiple machines but with same issue.

The dwg file is attached. Once the “move” command is clicked, the turned off layers are turned on automatically

Might you have a customization involving a redefinition of the MOVE command? Does it happen if you type in _.MOVE with the period prefix to force use of the native command definition? I see from your images that what's invoked by the button has the underscore prefix [to make the English command name work in versions for any language] but not the period.

I downloaded your drawing, but it works fine from my end. The 3 layers remain off no matter if I use the ribbon, or just type "m". Very odd that you can duplicate it on other machines. Do you use a custom menu? And if so, do all the other machines use that same menu?

Close this drawing you have, save it when prompted.

Open it back up.

Start LINE command to draw a line.

Start MOVE command then move it.

Check the layers status.

Use CTRL+F2 to bring up your commandline window screen: post a screenshot of the entire length of it, then share it here.
