Hi guys, so when trying to print P&E'S on AutoCAD, the dimensions are creating a 'block'-like a rectangle- almost like another line has been added underneath...but only once printed, not on the CAD file. does anyone know how I can fix this?

Not sure what you mean by a block. Perhaps share your dwg, pdf to compare with your hard copy snapshot

Hi, what do you mean by this? I am showing what I want my presentation drawings to look like in comparison to how they are printing. I'm hoping it is just something I need to do in my settings to make the dimensions come out clearer.

Can you help with this?

How I understand the issue, perhaps I missunderstood:

You have a cad drawing and it looks fine,

but if you plot a pdf, the result is differently.

?

I expect to see a screenshot from your DWG and another screenshot from your PDF (both showing the same area of this plan).

But your sections are different.

This is an unneeded confusion.

And we can not compare all the content, what could show more informations to us.

-

Hope it is more clear now.

so if looks normal on computer in the cad file as well as when you generate a pdf then the only issue is when you print directly to the plotter. This could be caused by an incompatible printer driver. But to test, take the pdf that looks perfect on the screen and use different programs to open and print it to the printer to see if you get different results.

If that works for you then it definitely is a driver compatibility issue.
