      <title>Auto CAD 2017 keeps freezing</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;My installation of Auto CAD 2017 keeps freezing&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Totally freezing with no navigation options.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My O/S is windows 10 with latest updates installed&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've ran windows repair sfc/scannow and uninstalled reinstalled Auto CAD&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Are there any known issues I could consider ? what advice could you offer in order to resolve the issue?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;please advise&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>The application opens ok, but no functionality on any buttons or navigation, you must close via task manager&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Is it possible that there is a window open off screen like a file dialog or maybe a welcome screen etc?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Hit Alt+spacebar and the the press the M button and then use your directional keys (id try left first) to see if you can move an open window into view.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Has this application ever run (new installation) or has this just started happening?&amp;nbsp; If this is a new install I can move this conversation to the Installation and Licensing team. If it is an existing installation, I suggest checking to see which OS updates and drivers have been recently installed.&amp;nbsp; Did you just get the Windows Fall Creator update? You might roll that back to see if it improves your AutoCAD performance.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You mentioned that your OS is fully updated but how about your AutoCAD?&amp;nbsp; Can you try your Autodesk Desktop App to see if there are any updates or fixes that need to be applied?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;What is your graphics card? Perhaps your driver is having a conflict.&amp;nbsp; Try starting with the &lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;U&gt;&lt;A href="https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Starting-AutoCAD-based-products-without-hardware-video-acceleration.html" target="_blank"&gt;No Hardware switch&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/U&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Another possibility is that your user profile might be corrupt. Try creating a new user account and log in with it to see if AutoCAD will then&amp;nbsp;behave normally.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
