Installing a light version

I need a suggestion because I only need to use 2D Autocad and the
whole software is too heavy for my uses and my computer Thank you in

Autocad LT? it only supports 2d work.

If you only need 2D functionality I suggest you try AutoCAD LT. Here is a link to the Trial.

Here also are the system requirements so you can verify that your hardware and OS will support the installation.

HI @Anonymous,

I imagine that is possible but you will have to check with your educational institution for information on activation. First I suggest you give the Trial a try to see if it works for you. You can apply the licensing information later if you decide it works well on your computer.

I am checking to see if you were able to download the trial version and get it installed. If so, what is your impression? Does it look like it is going to meet your requirements?
