Beriefly, I created the file in solidworks2016. And I want to have convert
the file to 3D autocad file.

I know it can be imported from IGES and ACIS file to autocad. I cannot
export IGES file from Solidworks 2018, either. I have autocad 2018.
So I have two problems and I cannot solve both. 😕

Here is the message I am getting. Anyone know anything about this? I am assuming it just means the SAT file is corrupt.

Yes, this is a rather ambiguous error message. Can you attach your model and tell me what operation caused this error to appear? I am happy to assist if possible.

Lets start with informations ... which software was used to create the ACIS file, which version of AutoCAD do you have and which applications do you have (besides of AutoCAD) which might also be able to upload the ACIS file?

You might upload your file, maybe someone can open and convert it for you.

If the ACIS / .sat file is version 7, the file will import, at least on my system it will. If you're using SolidWorks to create the .sat file, you need to select .sat as the file type as you would normally, then underneath there is an "Options" button. Hit that and the "System Options - ACIS" window opens up. Go to the "Version" drop-down and select 7.0. Hit "OK", then save as normal. The file should now import into ACAD though you may have to Zoom Extents to see the model. Hope that helps.
