AUTOCAD 2017 NOT WORKING/ERRORS

Hi, I'm currently using Autocad 2017 (student version) on ASUS laptop with Windows 10 (64-bits) and intel core i5 (7th generation) with a NVIDIA GEFORCE 930 Mx graphics. My laptop's ram is 12.0 GB.

I am facing a hell lot of issues with my Autodesk software (AutoCad 2017 and 3Ds Max 2017) recently and it is making me mad. My AutoCad is not functioning and the startup view port corrupted everytime I launched the software. And after a few actions the software freeze and stopped working.

the start up viewshowing fatal error: trouble aborting

I hope someone can help me out, thanks in advance!

Hi, thanks for replying.

I tried your suggestion but it didn't work. There's also a tiny window popped out saying that my graphic card denied the access or something...

Thanks, your first suggestion works, though there are some minor lagging situation and some difference... well, it works fine but I hope this is normal after I turned off the hardware? When I select an object it turns into dotted line (previously it was cyan solid line) or it is actually customizable?

But my start up page is still corrupted and I am wondering the cause of it... seeing this every time I launch the software makes me super insecure...

Turning off hardware acceleration is more of a diagnostic tool than a solution. If it tends to fix things, it's a good sign there's problems with the graphics system. Hopefully you just need to update the driver for your graphics card.

The GTX 930 is a bit of an older card, so it may not perform well with newer software. You especially might find some problems with that version of 3DSMAX (check the AREA boards for that program if you haven't done so already).
