Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

The error or warning message you see may or may not apply. Here is a page that will help you find all certified graphics cards. It does not however, mean that yours will not work properly. I suggest you work in AutoCAD for a while and make sure you try working in 3D and doing some rendering as this is usually where non-certified cards don't work as well.

Hi @Anonymous,

Not every graphics card is tested and certified. The nVidia Quadro series is typically those that get tested since they are designed to be more suitable for CAD than the GeForce cards. Again, this doesn't mean it will not work.

Can you type GRAPHICSCONFIG and take a screen capture for me? If you take a look at post 4, there is a sample from @ennujozlagam. You will see in it that the virtual device is using HDI which is less desirable than DirectX. I would like to see your settings to verify that DirectX is being used during AutoCAD sessions.

@ennujozlagam makes a good point however, turning off Hardware Acceleration might cure the message but might not yield the best performance depending on the type of work you are doing in the application.

From my research, as the GeForce is a gaming card rather than a CAD workstation card, it doesn't get tested.

The system you have should work great for Inventor according to TFI (youtuber & expert elite), so I can't see why it wouldn't for AutoCAD.

As others suggest, just ignore the message and carry on. You'll soon find out...

Personally, if I was working from home on my own PC, it'd be a similar setup to the one you have.

HI @Anonymous,

Thank you for the screen capture. I suggest that you try turning off Hardware acceleration to see if that helps. If that does fix the message, you can then also try turning off the individual features one at a time to see if that allows you to use some of them.

I also think that there is a newer graphics card driver available here.
