This sounds like a Mac problem because on Windows AutoCAD printing to PDF does not cause this problem.

You may want to post on that forum and change the subject to include printing to pdf to get better feedback:

AutoCAD for Mac Forum - Autodesk Community

I use AutoCAD 2020 to make construction drawings for a university theatre department. My tendancy has been to draft up the model, and create an orthographic projection in 3 viewports for my carpenters, with another viewport giving an isometric projection of the finished product.

The issue is that my isometric projections come out like this:which is strange, because in AutoCAD, they are projecting properly:

(this particular drawing is in perspective, not isometric, but the problem is persistent either way)

Any thoughts? I also welcome criticism of my dimensioning, but I would love answers about this problem.

Thanks!

When you state "exporting" what format are you exporting your dwg to?

Since the dwg looks fine then typically the problem has to do with the way the receiver is interpreting your output.

Good point...I am exporting the DWG to PDF so it can be printed on a different computer.

If I go through the Print function, and choose Print to PDF, I get the same corrupted graphic problem, but even worse.

As well, I'm using AutoCAD 2020 for Mac, and it is an older MacBook Pro - late 2011 model.

>>I use AutoCAD 2020 for MAC

there is an extra board for this software, next door.

Perhaps a known issue (what AutoCAD (for windows) User don't know.

Fully updated? Look at command ABOUT dialog, what productversion is running?
