hitting the delete key usually works. I suspect you are looking to do more than that. i would either use QSELECT or 'Select Similar' to select all instance of the block and delete them. What is it that you are having problems doing.

Only with a program extension, but if you have one or two blocks it should be really hard to erase all by hand.

One example DWG? We will show you where the Block is referenced.

Without programming / program extension there are a few tricks that make it easier to find the block.

One simple way is to edit the block and add a long line, so you can see where are block references of that block in use.

Modelspace, Paperspace(Layouts)

Check Dimension Styles for Arrow (your block could be used as Arrow for Dimstyles)
Qselect for current Space, Filters for all Spaces,
It is possible to explode inserts and search again for searching of nested inserts of your block (and UNDO the explode command)

and more.

Hi,

>> is there is a solution to delete a block while it is already in use in the DWG file <<

No ... is the direct answer . if you don't need that block then you can explode it. if you need it to be as one object but not block you can try Group command. what is your idea .. would you please tell us ?

Regards,
