Save Drawing - Version Conflict

Good afternoon,

I've got another issue with Autocad 2013. Whenever I save a drawing, a pop-up comes that says: Save Drawing - Version conflict. I attempted to look for a solution for the issue though I could not find anything about it. I saved all drawings and xrefs to 2018 but it still gives me that pop-up every time whenever I try saving it. Right now there are two versions on the computer, Autocad 2013 and 2018. might that be the reason it gives me that pop-up?

Autocad 2013 cannot open 2018 drawings.

There should be some item saved in the 2018 version with a setting that is not available in 2013.

Try to use the Audit command, and Recover, to correct possible file errors and eliminate this possibility.

it's sounds that you have an AutoCAD format compatible issue . please read here which AutoCAD drawing file formats are compatible with each other. >> Click <<

in 2018

OPTIONS

open and save tab set default save format to version to AutoCAD2013/LT2013 Drawing(*.dwg)

all files will default to the 2013 version unless save as is used to go to a different version

that should allow opening the files in 2013

save as and select the 2013 option for a single file then rerun save as and select the 2018 option if that format is also needed

with a different names such as filename_Ver2013 and filename_Ver2018

Save as 2013 version won't work for newer objects and features than the target version. If compatibility issues continue, exporting should give better results.
