Hi,

>> I'm still having the same problem, but now all my arcs are straight lines in paperspace?

Open my drawing and set the viewport scale to 1:1000 ... does that look ok?

>> Why is it turning so small when I do 1/750xp?

Because a scale with the name "1 : 750" is not the same as the mathemtical result of 1 / 750

If you want to edit the scalelist in your drawing and your want to add a scale of "1 : 750" for a modelspace units of meter then run command _SCALELISTEDIT and create your scale with that settings:

1000 for conversion of meter (modelspace) to millimeter (paperspace)

750 your scale

I feel so dumb posting this... I've been in architecture for four years and never struggled to scale a simple drawing like this before. Maybe because it's finals week my brain my falling out of my head. Can someone help?

Model is in 1:1 scale (meters). The paper is 24x36" (Layout 1). When I put in a viewport, the initial image looks almost scaled, but when I do z 1/750xp or z 4/3xp both of them look very wrong! One is waaaay too large and the other is tiny. What's wrong with my scaling?

Please find attached your drawing, with a viewport in your layout, I just reset the dwglistscales to my meter-values. Play with them and see if that's working now...

If I understand correctly yo draw in metric meters but want to print in imperial (feet or inches).

Why aren't you printing on metric Iso Sizes?

A4

A3

A2

...

If you are drawing in meters and want to print to A4 (for example) you have to know that thes paper sizes are in mm (not in m)

See my other post on this:

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-forum/how-to-print-correct-scale/m-p/7567783#M908481

You still are drawing in meters.

The metric size papers are not in meters.

You should draw in the same units you want to print.

If draw in meters but want to print on A4 (which is in mm) you cannot do 1/100xp.

1m = 1000mm

so you have to multiply by 1000

1/100 x 1000 = 10/1xp
