I use an AutoCad table for Drawing Index. I usually do a save-as for new coversheet from another drawing and update index. But the property box always show the data link as being link to the old drawing. How to change that?

You probably still have a datalink in the source file's table most likely.

Most data links in tables that don't show in data link manager are links from SSM. Was SSM used for the original table?

If you copy the SSM dst file with the sheet containing the sheet list it will stay dynamic and active. Otherwise the sheet list will be a broken link and you will have to repopulate the sheet list from SSM. Select a table cell, right click, find sheet list, open to select 'edit sheet list properties', on the subsets and sheets tab select which sheets belong in the sheet set. If you delete a SSM sheet list table you get a phantom listing for a data link in the xref manager, I did get rid of one once, but for the life of me can't remember how. ;/

Thanks. It's not giving me a problem. I just see it in properties - cell data link saying it's link to the old project and wanted to get rid of it. I will just leave as is. Thanks for your reply.
