Using the "script" command to load a xxx.eq.scr file (see below) it does not load the function into AutoCAD and no plot is generated. I've made sure all blank spaces have been removed. Nothing has worked.

Here is my script file:

Pline
0.0,-0.000115129

0.01,-0.046051702
0.02,-0.07824046
0.03,-0.105196737
0.04,-0.128755033
0.05,-0.149786614
0.06,-0.168804643
0.07,-0.186148203
0.08,-0.202058292
0.09,-0.216715105
0.1,-0.230258509

I assume when you state that no plot is generated you mean no Pline is generated?

Yes, the .eq.scr file is supposed to draw a pline with the x,y coordinates shown in the file. It is not doing that when I use the "script" command in AutoCAD. Instead, it is asking for another point for input as if it never sees the .eq.scr file. Thanks.

Worked for me but I did have to make 2 adjustments after copy+pasting from your posting (attached zip):

1. There was an extra empty line after the first set of coordinates which I removed:

2. At the end of file I added extra Return & Zoom Extents

I'm not sure what you mean by "Return & Zoom Extents". Did you add "Z Zoom" on the last line?

I actually typed Z which runs the Zoom command. But if you open the zip file that contains the modified script file I attached in the previous post you’ll see what I added at the end

Sorry, I don't see a zip file attached.

But:

I checked that my script has no blank lines and added Z on the last line and I keep geting the error:

command 0.0,-0.000115129 unknown command "0.0,-0.000115129". These are the first numbers in the eq.scr file.

That’s because your antivirus program detects a .scr file and thinks that is a virus since it contains a series of commands. But this file type is also used by AutoCAD to run a series of commands as well. See if you can temporarily disable that to allow the download

Another thing I changed in the script is by preceding the Pline command with _. The _ (underscore) invokes the native language command which is the English command and the . (period) invokes the original command incase it was undefined. So these are the main differences between your original script file vs my modified version. Glad that now it’s working out for you….cheers!!!
