image background prints green when Export to PDF

I cannot believe, 10 years later and this is still an issue.

We have a DWG using a Black and White TIFF background image. Export to PDF result in the image becoming green...

Image is on its own layer

Layer is a true color (I tried both)

I tried with transparency ON and OFF (we need ON for these drawings but did the test anyways)

Printing to PDF using Acrobat works, but creates a much larger file.

Anyone find a workaround yet?

Is the image clipped? Or the viewport it is in is clipped?

Is the image referenced, or an OLE?

Which PDF driver are you using? AutoCAD comes bundled with 5 at least, did you try them all?
"adobe PDF" is not an Autodesk provided driver.

AutoCAD 2022 by chance? Then this perhaps

image is clipped inside a viewport....which should make no difference.

image is referenced

I have tried all Autodesk PDF drivers

I fully understand Adobe is NOT an AutoCAD provided driver, again has nothing to do with the problem that has plagued AutoCAD for at least 12 years. Just find it interesting that the problem ONLY occurs with AutoCAD's OWN drivers.

Yes 2022, and using the latest updates per our IT dept

Did you unclip the TIFFs to test yet? Do so now and find out please.

Are these bitonal TIFFs? I'm not able to replicate your issue with TIFFs we have here.

What worked for me is changing the "background transparency" property of the image to "Yes". You will find it on the "Misc" group on the properties tab of the image.

Give it a shot!
