White line in paper space problem

When I use white layer to draw a line, it becomes grey in paper space. How can I change it to white colour?

What color is your white line?

Without seeing your screenshot/file, we have no idea what is really happened.

Here is a guess.

Double click within the viewport area in layout.

Type command layer to open the layer properties manager.

In "VP Color" column, click to change the layer color.

BTW You should set the color of white line to "bylayer".

Here is the screen shot. The line and the circle are using white color layer. But it shows grey color in the paper space.

How to change the color to white?

Try changing the Layout background color to anything other than white, maybe black or grayish.

I want both the layer color and background color are same, can't I?

then why would you want to print it? if the background (presumably your paper) and your object have the same color your printer will not print it.

The trick is not to use color 7(white), that color will switch depending on the background to ensure there's always enough contrast to be visible. Use the RGB color 255,255,255 instead, assuming that your paper background color is also set to 255,255,255.

Create a PDF and see it will hold the color.

In AutoCAD, color 255 will create a grayish contrast with a white background - but will not plot as gray.

@Valentin_CAD I don't get the grayish contrast in my layout when using line color 255,255,255. Is there anything else that might cause that contrast on your side?

Don't use RGB, but the Index Color 255.

The problem is solved. I use the true color instead of the index color.
