IGS import problem

I'm trying to import an IGS file,

I have followed the instructions to import and when its ready I click the title in the import box and it just cancels the command and my IGS file is not imported.

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I am sorry that you are having problems importing your IGS file. Do you get any kind of error message when the import is canceled? Where did the IGS file originate and which version of AutoCAD are you using? If you can share the file by attaching it to a post I am happy to see if I can get it to work for you.

No error message just automatically exits. Auto cad 2017

Hi @Anonymous,

When I do the import it says it is processing. Down at the bottom right corner of my display it indicates when it has finished. I can then zoom extents and see the file. I tried this in both AutoCAD 2017 and 2018 and they behave identically.

I tried opening it a new drawing and it worked out. I guess maybe there is an error in the drawing I was trying to import to.

I have the problem as attached photo, please advise. (Same as on autocad version 2015, 2019)
