Dear Sir

I have a query regarding hvac system drawing.

which color code i choose in supply air duct & return air and other many other equipment related to hvac .

i dont know what is the standard color code for hvac design so please tell me where i get download for

color code is following to your firm CAD standard !! ask your CAD manager or the technical man and follow the instruction .

The most important thing is put your HAVC stuffs in separate layers and set your objects to ByLayer color. You can then change the layer color to whatever later on.

Here is what I use

I insert the file into my XRef along with the basic layer standard.

Setup my xref

Then remove layer blocks and purge the drawing.

By having all my layers in the block they will not be purged if they are not currently used in the design.

NOTE - I use STB plot files, if you use CTB)s) acad will do its best to line up the colors >> you will need to tweek colors to a color dialog

number value when using CTBs if it does not transfer properly >> otherwise you will not get the color or gray scale you were expecting.
