I just upgraded to CAD 2015 from 2010....I work with xrefs a lot so I am familiar with the fade controls, but now when I xref files into my working file all of my hatches to do not retain the fade option set on the xref, they are all bright and have not setting applied to them. This is very distracting and confusing as I work in a file, anyone know how I can fix this?

Q: is 2015 fully patched and updated? It doesn't happen automatically.
Q2: what is your OS and video card?

1) Start ABOUT command and see what is reported as your exact version (SP2 is the last update I believe).

2) What is your Windows OS? Is this a laptop? If yes, are you sure AutoCAD is using this card and not the default Intel video option to safe power?
