Can anybody please convert the attached dwg file to iges ?

Can anybody please convert the attached dwg file to iges ? i find it difficult to convert in autocad10. The error warning is '' no nurb surface found'' when upload the autocad convered iges file to maxsurf. Kindly help me identify the problem and help me convert it

Hi,

here it is, but keep in mind that your model does not contain surfaces or solids, so the IGES-file does not have that too

but still i am getting the warning

''no nurb surface iges entities found the file.The design will be empty''

when I IMPORT this file to MAXSURF

can you convert it to .msd file and check

That's why I wrote, that your dwg does not contain surfaces, so your IGES file also can't have any.

Your objects (lines, 3d-polylines and splines) can't be easily converted to a surface, there is not just one command like "create a 3d-surface from these objects".

Commands like _LOFT (>>>details<<<) can help you to create a surface from your basic objects, but that's a lot of work to do...
