i draw a drawing in Scale 1:1 in model space and in layout select page set up Paper size A0 and Scale 1:100 unit than in view port by properties set a custom scale 200 and check it by VP it show 1:200 and indicate scale is 1:200 so i print it on A0 and measure scale is wrong. Please advise how i calculate indicating/tag scale for details multiple view ports.

have you tried in plotting window set plot scale 1:1 and then plot with viewport scale 1:200?

If you set a viewport scale to 1:200, you have to print it at 1:1 to get the scale to be 1:200. the recommended process is set up your sheet so it is at a 1:1 scale, then set your viewport to the scale you want to print, then print the sheet full size.

Dear chriscowgill7373,

i understand i my view port scale is 1:200 i print it scale 1:1 but the the sheet size is max. A0 which is not fitted.

1- i set page setting on scale 1:100 with sheet selecting A0

2- i draw drawing in meter at scale 1:1 in model space

3- when i set my drawing/Plan in layout it adjusted in sheet at scale (custom scale 200 and VP show it as 200:1) i write under plan scale 1:200

than i print it on A0 with already selected page set up scale which 1:100.

my consultant said it wrong scale mentioned 1:200 it 1:500M ( when i calculate by tape it is 1:500)

for example a length 6000 after printing it comes 12mm i divide 6000 by 12 equal to 500 so it is correct. how i calculate it 1:200 VP scale is correct as 1:500M. please under stand my Question.

Don't do your step 1. Just leave that 1:1. You are setting two scales over top of each other. Leave everything 1:1 except viewport scale. Just make the viewport scale the scale you want.

If at your 1:200 scale the drawing doesn't fit on a A0 sheet then changing the printing scale to make it fit can't possibly keep the 1:200 scale.
