Adjust dimension font

Hello,

Trying to place dimensions on my drawing. My default dimension font looks very small:

In case I click on dimension line I see bigger font:

In case I zoom unselected dimension I have strange font:

Why in unselected state I have such small and strange font?

Is the dimension annotative?
What is the size of the text in the DIMSTYLE?
Have you tried adjusting the text size of the existing dimension in PROPS?
What is DIMSCALE?

Post the drawing file (or a stripped down version of it) for a quicker evaluation.

Okay, your DIMSCALE = 1 and the size of the text in the dimension = 0.18mm

That means the text will be 0.18mm in size.

One way to do this is to figure out what size you want the text when PRINTED, using a certain scale

In the screenshot below, I've made the dimension annotative, left the text size at 0.18mm, BUT changed the annotative scale from 1:1 to 1:100.

Now the text is 18 units in height (0.18 X 100)

I don't know if this is correct, because I don't know if this part is the bulk of your model, or just a tiny part of a larger model

So there is no way for me to guess the correct annotative scale. I just chose 1:100 because it fit based on the size of this part.

just change text size in DIMSTYLE > standart > modify > text > size

change scale DIMSTYLE > standart > modify > Fit> scale
