If the frames are evenly spaced, you can use the PlotDWGarr utility (freeware) to split them into separate DWG files in one go, with the wbDWGarr command. See:

Does anyone know how to break apart or separate model space drawings into separate drawing files? I have an autocad drawing that has several drawings in one model space with multiple title blocks around each drawing in model space. I would like to separate these individual title blocked drawings in model space into separate autocad drawings if possible. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks.

Select one of the drawings then use command WBlock. It will ask you to name it and then where to save it. Repeat for every drawing you want to separate. They will be separate but you will also still have the original. They will not be linked to each other though. As in if you make a change to the original it won't change in the separate wblock drawing you made. Probably not an issue but just a heads up.

Another way would be to copy this file X number of times (X = the number of individual files you want).

Name them with a unique name.

Now open each one and erase everything except what you want to keep in that one file.

Purge, and Save.

Move on to the next one.

If the frames are not evenly spaced,

another method in addition to wblock or making multiple copies and deleting,

is to open a new blank drawing, and then copy with base point from your drawing with multiple copies,

one of the multiple copies,

and paste to original coordinates in your newly opened blank drawing.

Delete what you have copied from your original drawing, and repeat the process again for

each of the multiple copies.

Michael Kovacik
2d & 3d Autocad and Inventor designer/draughtsman
.
Draughting/Designing (Manufacturing) (31 yrs)
-Drawing Board (3 yrs)
--Cad (28 yrs)
---Cadkey (4 yrs)
---AutoCAD 2d & 3d (16 yrs)
---Inventor (4 yrs)
---Autocad and Inventor Simultaneously (4 years)
---(and recently Autocad/Inventor Customisation)
.
Autodesk Product Design Suite Ultimate 2018
Autocad 2018, Inventor Pro 2018
(personal licensed copy)
.
Johannesburg, South Africa
.
(Impossible only means you haven't
found the solution yet)

That could be -- my first guess -- that you have borders/title-blocks as Blocks or maybe Xrefs around different content, and you're editing the Block/Xref, so all references to it change in the same way. If that's the issue, with Blocks, separate them as suggested above and then edit the Block within each resulting file. If with Xrefs, you will probably need to do the same, but also Bind the Xref into each drawing before editing it, so as not to affect other drawings that reference the source drawing.

But I can imagine there might be other reasons for your issue. Post a [small] sample drawing that behaves as you describe.
