Weird Problem: Need to press F8 or F10 two times to switch between mode...

Hi!

I have an employee who is having a weird issue... Let say she is currently drawing with Ortho ON, and she want to switch to Polar, so she press F10, but instead of switching directly to polar, it simply turns off Ortho (in command line I read Ortho Off). So she need to press F10 a second time to turns Polar ON and vice versa...

Since the last Windows Update we had the issue of Autocad freezing for some times when switching Ortho On or Off so I've set Tempoverrides to 0 on all our PC. I thought this maybe the cause of the new issue, but she is the only one who have to press 2 times F8 or F10...

Does any of you have an idea of how to solve this problem?

Hi @alx86,

This sounds really strange. Can you tell me about her version of AutoCAD and whether or not it is fully up to date from the Autodesk Desktop App? Can you send me a NFO file from that computer?

Have you tried performing a Reset Settings to Default to see if that corrects the behavior? IF you log on with a different user account does the problem still present itself?

Hi @john.vellek! Sorry for the delay.

Finally, it seems that the issue was only in a specific drawing. I asked her to check in other files if she also had the problem and everything is fine. So for the moment I will not check for further solution since by simply copying everything she had in that drawing in a new file have proven to resolve the issues.
