    <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm sketchy on the explicit but i think the reference is just the data point that calls the block, so to create a block reference you would need to insert the block. So use the INSERT command and then there will be a reference for which ever block you select in the dialog.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Are you talking about creating a block outside of the drawing?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can use WBLOCK to export a block saved as a DWG&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also in the block editor you can choose Save As and you will be able to save the block as a dwg.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Post an image in which it shows up as only Block, without the word Reference.&amp;nbsp; I've never seen it that way, except -- &lt;EM&gt;Does the word Block have dots after it?&lt;/EM&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;That would happen if&amp;nbsp;your Properties palette is simply&amp;nbsp;narrowed down enough to cut off the word Reference, even though it's really still there:&lt;/P&gt;
