      <description>What scale ruler do architects use in Europe, and what is the most common scale that they use?&lt;BR /&gt;Like, in the US most common scale US is quarter inch equal to 1 foot. So what did they use in Europe?&lt;BR /&gt;For residential, that is.&lt;BR /&gt;I would think it would be metric, right?</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Most common scale 1:100 (1 cm is 1 m) for plans, elevation views and section views. 1:50 is also used for small buildings. 1:200 is used for large buildings. For callout views most common scale 1:20,&amp;nbsp;also 1:10.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
